Richard WIlson

Richard was tasked with playing Camelot's Physician, a friendly old man by the name of Gaius. His prolific acting career has spanned almost 4 decades. In this time, he has landed roles in various television series from Emmerdale to Doctor Who and Mr Bean. Richard turned to acting at the age of 27. Prior to this, he had served time in Singapore with the ROyal Army Medical Corps. He went onto to train in the performing arts at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Richard was also awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) in 1994 as a token of thanks for his serveces to Drama as both a director and actor. He also is an avid supporter of the gay rights group, Stonewell and also the Labour party.
